Quick and Easy Meal Planning
It seems like we all get busier and busier as the weather gets warmer. Am I right? Therefore, the last place I want to be is in the kitchen! It’s much more pleasant spending time outside with family and friends. Mia and Wyatt have a new play set at our house now, so Mia ALWAYS wants to go outside and go down the slide! Therefore, I dedicated this week to quick and easy meals. Hopefully they don’t take more than 15-30 minutes to prepare, even if they take a little longer to bake.
Sloppy Joes and French Fries – Typically I just mix spaghetti sauce with ground hamburger and call it good, but if I am feeling a little more ambitious I will attempt the recipe linked here!
Pigs in a Blanket – Who doesn’t love pigs in a blanket?? It is about the only way I can get Mia to eat some carbs with her hotdog! Again, I might go the easy route with crescent rolls, or I will whip up some of my homemade pizza dough and wrap them in bacon!
Pepperoni Pizza Quesadillas – We love pizza and we love quesadillas, so what could be better than combining the two? We’ve never attempted this recipe, but it sounds delicious!
Egg and Sausage Breakfast Casserole – This is a go to family favorite in our house and it is really quick and easy to put together!
Bacon Lettuce Wraps – These are just fancy sandwiches right? 🙂 We’l throw whatever we have in them.
Baked Potatoes and Cheesy Broccoli – I have some Velveeta in the fridge that needs used up!
Spaghetti and Meatballs – Simple spaghetti because we had leftovers on spaghetti night last week. If I am feeling ambitious I will make meatballs, but they aren’t that difficult!
