Bullet Journaling

In 2019, I started my bullet journal journey, and I LOVED it. I used colors and sketches to fill the pages with lists and calendar pages and journaling.

EDIT 2023 – This year I am using a digital planner, see why HERE!

A prayer page from my bullet journal.

Everything kind of flowed and I loved it, but it was not a good tool for planning ahead. I only did a week at a time and I never had a place to write down anything that happened in the future. Not to mention all my different kinds of pages were scattered amongst each other. (And there were weeks I just did NOT have time to draw and color!)

Building My Own Planner

So, when that journal filled up in October of 2020, I knew I had to do something different! I did some research, and none of the planners I looked into buying were quite customizable enough for me. That’s when I came up with the idea of using a binder.

Homemade A5 Sized Planner - Printable Pages

Currently, I use an A5 sized binder that we had laying around the house and I sewed a padded cover for it. You can buy these on Amazon and I had a cart full of pretty supplies before I realized I had these things and didn’t want to spend the money.

These are the binder and supplies I was going to buy before I realized I had everything I needed at home!

For now I am using paper that I cut out of a notebook that is actually A5 size, but eventually I think I will buy a ream of A5 copy paper. I don’t want to spend all my time cutting down regular letter sized paper. My dividers are made using scrapbooking paper that I cut down to size and left a tab on.

To speed up my organization process, I have created some printable pages that I use each week. After printing, all I have to do is fill them out. That’s probably why you’re here!

Weekly Home Blessing – Get these chores done once a week.

Daily Routine – Things to do every day!

Unscheduled Tasks – aka the “To Do List”

Weekly Digital Planner

There are 2 different weekly versions. One has more cleaning listed right on the page while the other is simpler. Print the one that works best for you!

You may want to play with the scaling when printing to make sure everything fits on the paper you have. I have filled the pages to the edges and haven’t left any room for margins. These pages can also be used for other sizes of paper, you just have to play with the scaling before you print to make sure it fills the page like you want!
