Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 300˚F.
- Beat salad oil, eggs, and sugar until well combined.
- Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until all flour is moist.
- Add the apples and vanilla. Stir.
- Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes. A darker pan may only take an hour.
Topping
- In a small sauce pan, bring all topping ingredients to a rolling boil.
- Pour onto warm cake and gently spread with a spatula.
- Serve with ice cream! Enjoy!
