Melt 2 tbsp butter in a deep frying pan
Dice chicken and fry until almost cooked through.
Add chopped onion and fry until chicken is cooked through.
Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Scrape everything to the side of pan.
Melt remaining 3 tbsp butter in pan.
Whisk in flour and cook until golden about 2 minutes. ,
Add 2 cups chicken broth and mix entire pan together. Stir continuously until thickened.
Drain can of mixed vegetables and add to pan. Heat until warm and bubbly.
Serve over biscuits.
